Something is terribly wrong in the American music business:

An aspiring rap star who has been charged with murdering his roommate and eating part of her lung did so as part of his record label’s plan to cultivate a “gangsta” image for him, the victim’s mother charged in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles. (…)Singleton, who would be eligible for the death penalty if convicted, is still awaiting trial.

I have no respect for American hip hop (and most hip hop in general), they’re all about promoting a violent and chauvinist way of living. They’re usually involved in assault and murder cases, and seem to get away with it, mainly because recorded labels are giving them millions of dollars for bad and untalented music. Take a look at Snoop Doggy Dog and his public pimping, P. Diddy’s court trial for illegal gun possession, not to mention the dozens of murdered rappers in the graveyards.
